I think most of us love to talk about the weather, and with our cool iPhone’s we are able to visually enjoy what’s coming our weather in the skies. But many of the Apps are clumsy, burdened with graphics that get in the way of just knowing what’s happening right now. We like Apple’s design sense, clean, cool, and direct. Well, a design conscious App creator, David Algena, was thinking the same and he created an app that responds to our wishes.
WTHR – A Simpler, More Beautiful Weather App is what the doctor ordered. And it’s under a buck to buy thru the iTunes Store
Requirements: iOS 4.3 or later, compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad. I like just clicking and seeing what’s the weather saying with simple images like sun or cloudy etc. When you open the app it finds the area you are in automatically, and then shows the current weather condition, below it shows the week’s weather prediction, that’s it. I wished I could see other cities too, but that would muck up the design, that’s so easy to quickly check. And yes, it’s in iTunes App store for easy purchase. Get it!
